Paul J. D'Agrosa Biography

Mr. D'Agrosa serves as the municipal prosecutor for the City of Arnold. He is the municipal Judge for the City of University City and the City of Olivette. He also volunteers his time to both write materials and lecture for the Missouri Bar. In addition, Mr. D'Agrosa reviews legislation relating to criminal law issues for the Missouri Bar and regularly volunteers his time to the Mock Trial Competitions in St. Louis, serving as both judge and coach. Mr. D'Agrosa also volunteers his time to the annual Bench and Bar conference, sponsored by the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis. He has also served as legal consultant for KMOV TV., Channel 4 in St. Louis.

Mr. D’Agrosa was recently a featured speaker for both BAMSL and the St. Louis County Bar Association where he presented a CLE related to the art of cross-examination. He has co-authored two chapters in the Missouri Bar CLE Desktop series on the topics of preliminary hearings and release on bail.

Mr. D’Agrosa was also a featured speaker for the Solo and Small Firm Conference on the topic of federal court practice and procedure. He authored an article for Aspatore, Inside the Minds Series, “Navigating Federal Drug Crime Defense: Rough Water for Repeat Offenders” which was published in the 2011 edition of Defense Strategies for Drug Crimes.

In 1998 the late Governor Mel Carnahan appointed Mr. D’Agrosa to serve on the Governor’s Commission on Driving While Intoxicated and Impaired Driving. Mr. D’Agrosa currently serves on several committees related to criminal justice in St. Louis County, including the jail committee, criminal justice committee, domestic violence committee and the E-filing committee.
